Database for major event organisers
The official event database of the Canton of Basel-Stadt has been running for over ten years. During this time, the Internet database maintained by the Division of External Affairs and Marketing has become an important information tool for major event organisers.

The central event database, which contains the key data of all media and city-related events that take place within a period of five years in the Canton of Basel-Stadt, has been used by professional organisers as long-term planning and organisation tool. It facilitates an improved coordination of the numerous major events held in Basel.
The Division of External Affairs and Marketing helps organisers in their search for the ideal time window. New major events can be registered for the event database at the same time. The numerous requests and enquiries confirm the need for such a platform. As an additional service, the dates of the events for next twelve months are also available to the general public.
